HUNDREDS TO UNITE AND PRAY AT LAKEMBA NIGHTS DURING RAMADAN
ARAB NEWS (Canterbury Bankstown) Canterbury-Bankstown Mayor Bilal El-Hayek will join local religious leaders to conduct Tarawih Prayers at Lakemba Nights during Ramadan, tonight.
The public prayers have been held annually at the festival for a number of years and see hundreds of devotees gather on the street.
The prayer faithful will enter the prayer space, via Oneata Street, with the prayers to commence at 8.20pm.
